There are official open test are already exists in many countries around the world except India. Indian education system is not allowing any kind of material during annual examinations.
In open book exams you are evaluated on basis of your understandings rather than your memory power. You need to analyze and organize subject in systematic way to successfully clear an open book test.
I just thought that if open book test exists then how it will change the education scenario. I also having doubt that will it upgrade the complete education policy or it will make some bad impressions on it.
However according to my personal view open book test should be there in India but before applying that kind of tests we should change our questioning method.
As if now it is open book then paper setter should ask more practical question rather than direct ones. The application type of questions should be good in case of open book exams. Students have to use their own subject knowledge only to answer questions.
Government should plan something to implement open book tests in India to promote education as only few states are having comparative education ratio. This way we could have highly knowledgeable, intellectual and skilled personalities.
However, open book tests are not applicable for all subjects it should be applied accordingly. Our current education system tests our memory power only but such type of open book exams could check the actual knowledge and understanding of subject.
